14/02/22 The Re-start

And it as begun again Move@Work Part 2. After a break and redeployment in the middle, we start again with new ideas.

To recapitulate, session will now follow an objective . Today’s session focus on range movement exercises for neck and shoulder , finishing with a full body stretch sitting routine,

Session followed mobility exercises of the neck, from flexion/extension, diagonal flexion extension, rotation and circular movements. After a 3sec full body shake we entered on a transition of breathing exercises joint with shoulder abduction. It followed with shoulder movement exercises like, bilateral arm swings, horizontal abduction/adduction, shoulder internal and external rotation and finally shoulder flexion.

Entering the stretch’s part, a global set of stretches for neck, mid back, chest. and lower limbs, all performed in the chair as from Part 1, so people got to use to it again.

Finalizing with 3 deep breaths from standing position.

My Thoughts:

On this day Move@Work had his re-start.

Was good to see people joining and seeing the motivation for it!

When it finished, CRAFS clinical Manager came to meet me saying that “had missed it”. I felt a burst of self-accomplishment, where I can see that my efforts are being recognized. Also thoughtout the brief conversation a question appeared – “have you invited Intermediate Care Lambeth (ICL)? – the other Team in the office”, to which I replied no, as I was waiting for the wellbeing manager from ICL to come a speak to me. My Manager answer was that would be good to invite them as theire clinical Manager was keen to join.

The conversation:

So after the talk I went and had a brief conversation with ICL Clinical Manager and asked authorization to send invites to ICL staff. Answer was positive so I gladly performed the invites to ICL staff so they can join me.

Thrilling future is there to come! I am excited about it! 🙂

Thank you! Please come and Move@Work with me!
