17/02/22- The Team Merge
Today’s session focused on range movement exercises for spine and hips , finishing with a full body stretch sitting routine,
Session followed mobility exercises of the spine, from flexion/extension, lateral flexion truck rotation and lumbar rotation associated with trunk flexion, all in sitting positioning. After a 3sec full body shake and a readjustment of the chair. Transition to hip mobility was made with dual-task exercise with stands and trunk rotations. It followed with hip movements exercises like, alternating leg crossing that will facilitate the external rotation of the hip, assisted hip flexion with knee flexion , circular hip movement (leg extended people perform a circle with the foot).
Entering the stretch’s part, a global set of stretches for neck, mid back, chest. and lower limbs.
Finalizing with 3 deep breaths from standing position.
My Thoughts:
Was good to see people joining from ICL and CRAFS, following my invitation and seeing the interest or curiosity for it!
I think the session objective session give it a bit more focus to the routines and makes people focus on the exercises in question.
I am keen to have a conversation with the ICL personal to see how did they founded the session. 🙂
