Let’s start talk in bulk sessions

As a trial I will blogging in a bulk with me talking about various sessions at once as similar outcome came out from the sessions.

Sessions ran as normal, with good adherence, where I note an average of 10 people for staff and al keen to be with cameras on and been recorded. Also as some staff are in the office that time, I invite the to join me to perform the sessions in person if they want. Off course I will be using COVID guidelines to have chairs separated and wearing a mask thought-out the session.

Sessions always followed an pattern from warm up where I normally pick a routine of neck , shoulder, spine and lower limbs mobility to wake up the body. It is brings a giggles when someone starts complaining about neck “cracking” on the movements.

Then I start with general stretches always starting from head/neck , torso and lower limbs. I perform 1x repetition for 10-15s each section so I can easily fit in the 15min session time.

It finished as always with 3 deep breaths to clear the air.

My thoughts:

Sessions are going well. People seem to enjoy doing them at the begging of the shift and has in in a virtual component staff is able to see other colleagues face to face 🙂

I will keeping to mix exercises, bring various routines with some new movement in every class, as, it shifts the mood and routine a bit. For now I am not keen on trialing with materials as I am still thinking how can I make staff get the extra things for the class. So far only doing it with “no equipment”.

I will leave it for the second part of the project.
